We focus on early diagnosis and awareness to improve survival of pancreatic cancer

Story

Team JollyWorm are embarking on a very mucky Tough Mudder Half challenge at the beginning of May in aid of Pancreatic Cancer Action. For all of you marathon runners and triathletes out there, we appreciate it's not the toughest challenge for you - but it is for us!

Right now, between us we have zero upper body strength (except when it comes to lifting glasses of wine) and we struggle to run any great distance. So we are going to train hard.... and do this!

Why are we even bothering we hear you cry?! We have all been affected by pancreatic cancer in the past and most recently a very close family member/friend has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and is about to embark on her journey to kick cancer in the horrible, stinking butt! As there’s very little else we can do to help, we want to show our support by taking part in this event and trying to raise as much money as possible.

Please dig deep and sponsor us and we promise we’ll get out asses round the course, even if we have to drag each other.

Thanks in advance for your support. Every penny we raise goes to Pancreatic Cancer Action – a charity focussed on the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
