The GB Team enters 2018 as European Champions with an exciting year ahead. It would be fantastic if you could help support the team by donating or organising a fundraising event.

Story

The Cause

You may have heard that UK Sport have cut all funding for the GB Wheelchair Rugby team, which came as a massive shock after the success and talk of legacy after London 2012. Without funding the GBWR team won't survive.

By supporting my event you are supporting players with life-changing injuries and impairments, facing personal challenges that defeat many of us.

GBWR are asking for support to raise £3m to replace the funding cut by UK Sport and help the GB Wheelchair Rugby team in its quest to get to Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

The Challenge

The Yorkshire Three Peaks takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, all part of the Pennine Range in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The route is 24 miles long, includes 1,585m of ascent and must be completed in under 12 hours.
