We fund medical research to help more children beat cancer

Story

Jonathan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 12th August 2012, just a few weeks after his 4th birthday.

He has endured 20 months of chemotherapy, and still has another 20 months to go. It's tough going, but Jonathan is coping well. Liam is a fantastic little brother and always makes him laugh and feel better.

Together, they are going to run the Children's cancer run to raise vital funds to help NECCR continue research into childhood cancers, their causes, and better treatments. Their main objective is to increase the number of children cured of cancer.

We may never know why our previously healthy little boy got leukaemia. But if we work to understand the causes, then perhaps one day it can be prevented altogether, and wouldn't that just be marvellous?
