In memory of our colleague Jon Best  who sadly passed away in June after his nine year battle with cancer, ten members of staff will cycle over 400 miles in five days to raise money for the Great Oaks Hospice in the Royal Forest of Dean.

Jon was a keen cyclist and completed Lands End to John O'Groats (or LEJOG) during a period of remission to raise money for MacMillan, which has inspired us to complete this challenge.

Jon was also keen to support the smaller charities as well as the bigger, more well known ones, and nominated Great Oaks as his chosen charity before he passed away.

Meurig Thomas, Jez Bullman, Steve Dockerill, Andy Sheard, Neil Chapman, Charlie Nicholas, Dale Burton, Tom Walker, Matt Ferguson and Jeff Jones will undertake the challenge between the 5th and 9th of September.
