16th May Update - I have lost 5 pounds!! Isnt that brilliant! this past week has been harder than i thought it would be but its paid off and i feel fantastic, Thank you for all your support so far, still a long way to go, this feeling is fantastic, knowing that every pound is going to something so close to my heart. Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. 

We want to help and we need yours too!

As you are all well aware we are both fabulously curvaceous but this is all about to change.. 

Our goal is to lose 4 stone over 1 year. Starting on May 9th 2011 and finishing on May 9th 2012 

For all of you out there who are wondering how we are going to do this, its simple. 

Jordan will start by posting her current weight, and her target weight and each week she will update via this event page how much she has lost. While Jennie will post how much she has lost each week and what she aims to lose for the week commencing. 

4 Stone over 1 year works out as, 1 stone per quarter, 4.6lbs a month which is just over a pound a week. 

Now breaking it down just like that makes it sound so simple doesn't it? We wish! All you ladies and gentlemen who have ever dieted know exactly how hard it is. the first 3 months can be the easiest, for some people it can just fall off, for others its harder, after the first 3 months you can go a week or two without losing a pound and a week or two losing 2 or 3 pounds. 

REMEMBER THE POUNDS ADD UP!

We are aiming to raise £800 between us. We aren't asking for cash or cheque, this can be donated via the cancer research donation site that will be set up in our names by May 9th. 

On June 26th we will be joining the 5k race for life at Temple Newsam which will be the first of 2 races, the second will be to celebrate our weight loss in 2012

We are going to need all the support we can get from everyone. Remember guys, this is for cancer, not our pockets. Just a few pounds will help us go far. 

WE ARE DETERMINED TO DO THIS AND WILL NOT FAIL YOU!
