Sadly mum died on Saturday 11th June 2011 after some months in hospital. I hope it will be a comfort to all those who knew and loved her, as it was for me, that her death was gentle, peaceful and painless.

As you may be aware, there is little that can be done with flowers these days after the service, and so charity donation has become a popular alternative.

Mum suffered with heart-related medical issues throughout her life, (although as you all know they didn't stop her from living and enjoying it), and the British Heart Foundation is one of the three charities she supported on a regular basis. It was her wish please, that donations be made to one of the three.

Mum would like to thank all her dear friends for their kind thoughts and support during her final months.
