We were given the opportunity to run the London Winter Run for Cancer Research UK and we've not looked back since. We are both beginners with just a couple of 5k runs under our belts and although we're not living unhealthy lifestyles, we would struggle to complete a 10k run without any training. Working at Wiggle gives us fantastic motivation as our colleagues in the office are very active and have encouraged us along the way!

We are beginning our training on 11th January and will be documenting our journey via @Wiggle_Sport on Instagram.

Follow our journey and training updates, we'll be needing all the support and advice we can get from now until the big day on 3rd February!

We've been given fantastic support by ASICS who have given us some training kit to help us get out there and get some KMs under our belt during lunch hours.

Cancer Research UK are aiming to reduce the amount of lives lost by cancer and if there's a chance we can help to support that, we definitely want to be involved. As many, we've both been affected by cancer in recent years and want to have in input into the research to help. Therefore, while training for the London Winter Run 2019, we will be asking for donations to reach an achievable goal of £500 to Cancer Research UK.
