Joshua Hope - Reading FC's Reading Half Marathon

Reading Half Marathon 2022 · 3 April 2022 ·
Brave or stupid? I’ll let you decide.
This Easter, I’ll be running the Reading half marathon for the No5 charity. In 2020 I put everything into training for the event and it was cancelled due to the covid pandemic. Since then, there have been ups and downs for everyone. For me personally, this demonstrates a big “step” (see what I did there) back to normality… and I can raise money for a great cause as well! The No5 charity do some fantastic work around the areas that I’ve grown up in and as a result, I’m proud to be fundraising for them. Here’s a short description from them about some of the great work they do:
No5 Young People is a charity which provides counselling and preventative outreach mental health services to children and young people aged 11 and 25 years who live, work or study within the RG postcode area. The charity delivers open access, self-referral services to any child or young person who contacts them, aiming to offer help at the very earliest point of asking intervening when issues first arise and supporting young people at the first time of asking to prevent those struggles or difficulties escalating.
