The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileTo celebrate the 150th anniversary of Reading Football Club, the Reading Half Marathon organisers have agreed to set aside 150 places in next years race exclusively open to Royals fans!
The places, which are guaranteed for any loyal Royal who wants to tackle the 13.1 miles around the town and cross the finishing line at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, are up for grabs now!
There are a few promises wed like you to make.
We want all 150 supporters to run the race in blue and white hoops. There may well be some exclusive prizes available for the best-dressing loyal Royals too!
And every entrant who takes one of our guaranteed places will also need to commit to raising a minimum of £150 for our Official Charity Partner for 2021-22 No5 Young People. No5 Young People is a charity which provides counselling and preventative outreach mental health services to children and young people aged 11 and 25 years who live, work or study within the RG postcode area.
The charity delivers open access, self-referral services to any child or young person who contacts them, aiming to offer help at the very earliest point of asking intervening when issues first arise and supporting young people at the first time of asking to prevent those struggles or difficulties escalating.
While Reading Football Club were founded in 1871, No5 began life as an organisation in 1971 so while we honour our 150th anniversary this season, the charity will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in the very same year.
