Climbing Kilimanjaro June 2022

On the 1st of May, 2018, the day before my first GCSE exam, I received a phone call to tell me that one of my best friends had taken his own life. The feeling isn't possible to put into words - someone you love has been suffering silently without you knowing; succumbing to a battle you were unaware they were having. For this reason, we must break the stigmas surrounding mental health in teenagers through education and raising awareness.
Luckily, through the amazing work of Oli's truly inspiring mother Michelle, there is now a foundation set up in Oli's name to do exactly this and the money raised through this campaign will do priceless work in Helping teenagers 'see through the fog'. The charity delivers suicide prevention and well-being training to schools universities and colleges around the country.
Oli was so genuine, good-hearted and had his mates' backs unconditionally and I feel so proud and overwhelmed to be doing this in his name.
