My Dad, Ian, passed away after a long term battle with cancer on June 21st 2005. I was only 10 at the time but now, it's the right time to do the run with a reason and meaning for it. During my Dad's battle with cancer between 2003 to 2005, he used to visit St Oswald's for day treatment to help him relax and manage with his terminal illness. By running for the charity, it means that although my Dad is no longer here, the money raised can help towards treatment and care for others and in memory of my Dad.
