The Marine Conservation Society is the UK charity dedicated to protecting our seas, shores and wildlife. We work to ensure that the rich wildlife of our seas can be restored, that fish stocks can recover and our beaches and bathing waters can become cleaner.

Story

All coastlines and seas are full of life and every bit of it needs protecting and preserving before it's too late and it will be gone forever.

That's why the six of us amateurs are going to cycle over 220km from one beautiful coast on the Irish Sea in Workington to the shimmering coast of Tynemouth by the North Sea.

We'll be pushing our quads to the limit riding up and through the picturesque lake district on day one and over the 'Roof of England' (the Pennines) on day two.

Our final day will see us triumphantly ride from Stanhope, through Newcastle, to the North Sea coast and dip our tyres in the sea for a glorious victory!

So as we dip our tyres in each ocean for the challenge, please dip your hand into your wallets and sponsor our challenge to provide much needed support to the Marine Conservation Society so they can keep our oceans clean and protect our fantastic planet.
