We organise disaster relief worldwide to be there for people in desperate need

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running the Bristol Half Marathon on 11 September 2011 to raise funds for the East Africa Crisis Appeal.

More than 12 million people in East Africa have been left in need of food, water and emergency healthcare because of one of the worst droughts in 60 years.

The Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) member agencies will help more than 2 million of those worst effected in the coming months, providing food and water and a wide range of other interventions including vaccine programmes.

Government action so far has been in short supply and the UN appeals are woefully under funded.

Please dig deep and help me raise funds for the East Africa Crisis Appeal. The money raised will allow member agencies to respond quickly and effectively in the worst-hit areas

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
