Story
We were lucky enough to have ballot places amd wanted to raise some money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my mum Margaret Batt and brother-in-law George Pass both lost to heart disease. Often there is no warning of a problem just the complete shock of a phone call out of the blue. That was the case for both loved ones and if by raising some money we can prevent more families from going through the same we will be happy. We lost my wonderful mum who lived with cerebal pausy and the late affects of polio unexpectedly on the 02/12/19. Mum never let her disability hold her back and was known for her cheeky sense of humour! George went out for a run on 18/10/22. At 66 George was fit and healthy but collapsed leaving his wife Sharon and 7 younger siblings, family and friend devestated. It seems fitting to run this one in their memory.
