Story
I know January can be a tough month financially and especially in these uncertain times it can be even more unsettling. I wasn’t sure whether to fundraise for my challenge but as I come close to the half way point I realise that even if I only made £1 for every mile I plan to run this month it’ll make a big difference to the charity. As many of you know this charity has become close to my heart and of those I care deeply about for the saddest of reasons. I’m doing this challenge in memory of the beautiful Rachel Porter who was taken from her loving husband and 2 little girls far to soon and far too young.
Neuroendocrine Cancer UK is there to support and inform patients and families from diagnosis, enabling access to the best care and treatment, whilst stimulating Neuroendocrine Cancer research, increasing national awareness and influencing improvements in outcomes.
