Story

This summer I'm doing a trio of ill-advised sporting challenges to raise funds for the autism resource base at my daughter Alice's school, Kentish Town Primary.

To show I'm not bluffing, I've already cursed my way round a 75 mile bike race up and down the Chiltern hills. If you want to see any more embarassing pictures of me in lycra/wetsuits like the one shown here then it's going to cost you... To complete the set I'm doing a 3 km swim in the Thames, followed by two half-marathons (thankfully not on the same day...)

The resource base provides specialist support for children on the autistic spectrum to participate fully in a mainstream classroom. The money I raise will go towards the fantastic music therapy programme which helps children to develop skills such as turn-taking, waiting and two-way conversation, whilst thinking they're just having fun...

Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated!
