Story

Throughout March myself and an amazing bunch of parents and midwives from the Sunbeam Support group will be taking part in the Sands ‘Jog 50 miles in March’ challenge. I will be running in memory of our gorgeous boy Alfie James to help mark what would have been his second birthday.
Sadly 14 babies every day die in the UK. That’s over 5,000 families whose lives are shattered by the devastation of losing a baby. Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal loss charity, is there to support every single one of those families and through their amazing research and campaigning are working hard to try and reduce that number.
I have had two babies in 16 months, haven’t been near a gym in 18 months and I am currently parenting the Duracell bunny so this challenge is not going to be easy! However during every mile I run I will be thinking of our beautiful boy and all of the other families who did not get to bring their babies home. It really would mean the world if you were able to support by donating whatever you can afford in Alfie’s memory❤️💙❤️💙
