Story

The Sunbeam Support Group was set up in 2017 and provides support to anyone who has lost a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth. The group is run by Local midwives from Airedale General Hospital and bereaved parents. Due to COVID our support sessions have been suspended and we wanted to help another cause close to our hearts. Our team comprises of parents and midwives who together will be walking/running and jogging through March to help raise vital funds for SANDS another cause close to our hearts and in memory of the babies we have lost.

Join me and get moving this March! Jog 50 miles between March 1st and March 31st and show your support for families who've lost a baby.

Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. We want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.

Whether you jog, walk or run to reach your 50 miles target, every step you take will help ensure no one faces the loss of a baby alone. Together we can continue do all that we can to stop families from experiencing this devastating tragedy.
