In June 2023 (at the 4th attempt!) Dave & Carl will be heading out to Peru to take part in the BTU Jungle Ultra.

The Challenge

The Jungle Ultra is a multiday, self sufficient running event through the Amazon Rainforest in Peru.

In short it's a 230km course over 5 days carrying all your own equipment & supplies. All this in temperatures of up to 35 degrees and 85% humidity.

For this challenge we've chosen to raise funds for our local Hospice at Ashgate in Chesterfield

The Charity

Ashgate Hospice runs a 21 bed inpatient unit and a 16 place day hospice service. All of the care it provides is free of charge to patients with any life limiting illness.

It costs around 6.5 million to keep these services available, of which over £4 million needs to be raised purely through voluntary donations and fundraising.
