3 peaks in 24 hours · 5 March 2022
Please read and give to support if you can.
Following my battle with throat and mouth cancer, I have wanted to help support those suffering from this horrendous illness. Having suffered so physically during my illness, it seemed only right to therefore make my method of support something suitably challenging physically to show how things can improve given treatment, time and support. Myself and some of my friends are therefore taking on one of the uk’s toughest challenges, 3 peaks, in 24 hours!
Starting in Scotland for the toughest (but fastest) trail up and down Ben Nevis. Once complete, we will be heading straight to the Lake District to take on the challenging Scafell Pike, known for its treacherous steep routes. Then we head south again to Wales, where we will take on the mighty Snowdon, tuff enough on its own, but after the two previous peaks this will be no easy task!
I am doing this to raise money and awareness for the st Helena hospice, which is an amazing facility for those both suffering and terminally ill with cancer. Obviously this one is close to my heart. We are also raising money for the north Essex ‘Children with autism’ charity, that have greatly helped another member of our team with his own son. Both great reasons to donate, but we will also be supplying thorpe - le - soken where we all live, with a large Christmas tree and decorations for this years village Festival.
Please do give what you can, it really will make a difference to lives.
Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️
