RUnning events to support Crohn's & Colitis UK

Story

I know, I've done ultramarathons before. But this is the first one since I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis earlier this year. I spent a couple of horrible months last winter with constant diarrhoea during which time I lost almost two stone and could barely take the bins out never mind run.

Eventually I found out the cause and have been on medication since and will be for the rest of my life. I'm very fortunate though - in more severe cases surgery is required and I'm able to live a normal life albeit with a few dietary adjustments.

It's been a humbling journey back to running fitness and I'm still not entirely sure whether this 50-miler is too soon but I'll only find out by trying so please donate what you can to encourage me to get round and more importantly support this charity.

Crohn's & Colitis UK are the UK's leading charity for Crohn's and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. I am running to support Crohn's & Colitis UK, and your donation can help Crohn's & Colitis UK's mission to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and raise awareness.
