I decided a while ago that I would like to take part in the Great North Run this year as a personal challenge. However due to some truly awful circumstances it has now become a fundraising challenge too!!

 

I am running in memory of Charlie Shore who was cruelly taken from his friends and family far too early.

 

The Sick Children’s Trust have supported Charlie’s mam and dad through a very difficult time and fundraising for them will mean they can help other families who need a place of comfort when they are in such desperate need of it.

 

Charlie will never be forgotten and always in our hearts and I'm positive he will be behind us every step of the way, giving us a big kick up the butt to keep moving!!
