Story
The hurricane has caused at least 43 deaths with hundreds still missing in the Bahamas with high level of life-threatening conditions.Thousands of children and families are affected with over 70,000 left homeless. The death toll and human suffering has been described as 'unimaginable' which for us sitting in our comfy homes and cars, probably is. Children In Need is working with local non-profit organisations to help people in need there in Bahamas.
I was born in Freeport, Grand Bahamas, one of the worst affected and felt, even though I was doing a skydive anyway and had planned not to ask for charity money for my mid-life crisis, with this disaster just occurring, I could't let this opportunity to help be missed when that help is so badly needed. Please help me to support them to get relief from this disaster.
