Why The British Heart Foundation?

My father died suddenly & unexpectantly from a heart attack at the age of 51 years.The enormity of my loss was immense and reminded  me of the familial risk of Heart Disease  much later in life when I was diagnosed with hypertension. My sister-in- law Tina also died suddenly & unexpectedly at the age of 48 years from heart disease, so I am raising money in their memory and supporting BHF’s amazing work to help prevent heart disease.
