Children Hospices across London (CHaL) is a unique charity caring for children with life-limiting conditions as well as supporting their families. Many of the conditions children in CHaL's care are suffering from are degenerative in nature and become more acute over multiple years, ultimately reducing the affected child's life expectancy.

CHaL therefore focusses on helping these children live a fuller life with a smile and supporting their families throughout the hardship.

Every child has a right to a memorable childhood and my hope is that by helping to raise awareness and funds for CHaL, we will be able to make a contribution to those in need within our community.

For this, whilst by no means a cyclist (!) I have signed up to cycle over 620kms across Italy: from Venice to Rome in 4 days with my colleagues at BlackRock to raise funds for charity. Whilst we will be crossing a mountain range and cycling in 30C+ heat, I am determined to battle through and complete the challenge for this special charity.
