Story

All the money raised will go to Francis House in Manchester, who help families in their hour of need when they have a child with life limiting conditions.

I came to realize  just what an amazing and fantastic place Francis House is when our friend and customer of Bele, Jinny Evans gave birth to Freddie "Rocky" Robinson in November 2012. Freddie was born with Trisomy 13 or Patau syndrome, it is a chromosomal condition associated with severe intellectual disability and physical abnormalities in many parts of the body, and many infants with trisomy 13 die within their first days or weeks of life. Only 5 percent to 10 percent of children with this condition live past their first year.

Freddie, Jinny, Dru and Charlie were looked after and given so much help and support from Francis house not only during the four weeks of Freddie's life, but also after his death. The house is just such an amazing place, giving support to parents and siblings when they need it most.

So I am running 50 miles this January in memory of one of the greatest little boys I never had the privilege to meet - Freddie "Rocky" Robison and to raise money for Francis House so they can continue to help families like Jinny's.

Please help me reach my target of £500 to donate to Francis House. I would love to smash this target and promise even though it will be a slow start (slightly out of practise 👀) I am determined to smash it!

Thanks for reading Jinny’s, Dru’s and Charlie’s story ❤️
