In June 2017, 40 individuals decided to tread the Norfolk Coast Path to fundraise for Star Throwers. Money was raised, friendships were solidified and blisters formed!

We now feel that the time has come to pop on our walking shoes once more! On 18th and 19th May 2019, we are planning to explore the Suffolk Coast Path by walking the 44 mile route from Felixstowe to Southwold Pier. We are planning to stay in or around Aldeburgh.

Other than taking the opportunity to get some refreshing North Sea air and enjoy some spectacular scenery, we are aiming to raise as much money as possible for Together Against Cancer.

Together Against Cancer is an international charity which assists in the relief of cancer and similar conditions through education, complementary therapies, grants, public awareness and medical aid.

"We’re committed to helping those fighting and recovering from illness. Our mission is ultimately to equip as many people as possible with the power to take control of their own health.

Many also wish to adopt a holistic approach to healing, but can often be overwhelmed by the amount of information available. This is why our Education and Wellness Centre exists; by offering free nutritional guidance, practical workshops and one-to-one therapies, we provide the tools that can help to create and maintain a healthy mind-body balance.

Outside the centre, our commitment to disease prevention and healing continues, extending to similar charities both in the UK and overseas, such as The Mary How Trust, Penny Brohn UK, Gerson Support Group UK, Yes to Life and the Destiny Medical Fund."

Our friend Anna was diagnosed with cancer in June 2016. She is in her 30s with a young family. Anna is such an inspiration to all those around her. She has shown courage, tenacity and what it really takes to tackle something like cancer. Her journey continues but we are looking to show our support for her by raising money for her chosen charity.
