Story

We were both going to run the GNR this year for Newcastle Cat and Dog Shelter to help all the cats and dogs that deserve a second chance. We got our cats from a shelter and think it’s important to support these charities. I was also supposed to do this last year and then broke my toe! So that’s two years I have unsuccessfully ran for them.

Now Andrew has been running long distances lots recently but as I have only done the GNR once before, it will definitely be a challenge for me. We also don’t run together. Ever. This could be interesting!!! Hope we don’t fall out by the time we get to Egger!! 😂 We would be so grateful if you could help us raise a little bit of much needed money to help all those poor animals that need our support - especially as the charity rely so much on sponsorship from the GNR that they won’t be getting this year. I’m not sure which is going to be harder, running 13.1 miles or running together for that long!! Wish us luck!!
