Story

Welcome to my fundraising page. My name is Katerina Polychronopoulou and I'm part of a team at LSE raising money for Hope for Children by trekking Kilimanjaro in August 2022. It is my first time undertaking such a demanding challenge, but I could not be more excited to conquer one of the Seven Summits in support of Hope for Children. Hope for Children is an international charity working towards a world in which every child has the happy, healthy and positive childhood they deserve. My ambitious fundraising target for this year will support the mission of the organisation, and ensure that vulnerable children in African regions living in poverty will get improved education, livelihood, health and wellbeing. I'm determined to help Hope for Children by raising awareness of their excellent work and give them the necessary funding they need to continue their efforts! Any donation, big or small, is much appreciated. Even by spreading the word of Hope for Children, you can have a massive impact. So thank you for your support! Together we will reach the top!

Please note that this trip was due to take place in August 2021, but was deferred due to Covid-19. All your support throughout the year has been outstanding, and with the deferral we now have more time to make an even bigger impact!
