24 Hours of Walking · 4 July 2020

Half a billion more people could be pushed into poverty by coronavirus, Oxfam needs your support to help with our emergency response.

Story

Too many people around the world live in cramped conditions, with no access to clean water or proper handwashing facilities, and are already facing crises like conflict and hunger. For these communities, coronavirus could be catastrophic.

Support can help Oxfam to  deliver soap, clean water and sanitation services such as handwashing facilities to keep more families safe.

Due to the increased demand coronavirus has placed upon charities, paired with a loss in donations due to cancellation of several charitable events, it has become increasingly important to help.

My Dad and I are going to be attempting to complete 24 hours of constant walking, continuing through the night and only breaking for the odd nature wee. We are aiming to cover over 50 miles in the hills around where we live.

I understand it is a difficult time for everyone right now but anything you can donate to support can make a difference and save lives. Thank you.
