Story
For the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of working at Moya Cole Hospice. Every week I witness the extraordinary resilience of patients and families from across Greater Manchester who are navigating the realities of life-limiting illnesses. Moya Cole Hospice provides specialist palliative care to these patients and much needed support to their loved ones. It is a truly incredible organisation, which relies on the generosity of our community to continue its vital work.
That is why, this October, I am taking on a massive personal challenge by running the Manchester Half Marathon.
It might not sound like much of a challenge to some, but I am most definitely not a seasoned distance runner! Up until now, my absolute limit has been 10 kilometres, so the thought of tackling 21.1 kilometres is extremely daunting! I know my endurance will be tested like never before.
If you are able to make a donation, no matter how small, I can guarantee that your it will be gratefully received and put to good use by Moya Cole Hospice. Thank you for your support.
