On the 7th of September 2008, I am running The Great Yorkshire Run. This is a 10km run through Sheffield. I am doing this to help raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and The Katie Walker Cancer Trust.

Katie was an amazing girl, the bravest of all. Katie always put other people first and even when Katie was suffering herself she still put other Terratoma and Teenage Cancer Sufferers first by helping them with their fight.

This Katie Walker Cancer Trust has been recently set up in her memory, as she made a difference to so many young cancer sufferers and touched many others. The inspirational story of her battle with cancer provided strength and courage to many and the aim is to continue this trend even though she is no longer with us.
