My husband, David, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in November 2011. He had become very involved in the Big Build Appeal and in his memory, I am continuing his wish to raise funds for a new Marie Curie Hospice in the West Midlands. On 27th September 2012, I am setting off, together with my sister-in-law, Catherine Loudon, and nine others, to trek the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. David was on the Appeals committee for the Big Build, which needs a total of £7m to provide this facility. In addition to first rate care from medical professionals, the hospice will offer a range of services such as modern day therapy rooms, specialised medical treatments and expanded facilities for emotional support. They have already raised £3m, £4m to go .........please dig deep into your pockets to support this challenge in memory of David.
