The Little Black Dress Initiative 2018 · 12 March 2018

Created in 2014, the Little Black Dress Initiative ("LBDI") is a fundraising campaign where participants wear one black dress/outfit for 5 days while raising funds to fight against poverty.

Story

How many times have I looked in my closet, overflowing with clothes, and thought 'I have nothing to wear'?   But of course that's not true.  I have more than enough choice -- far more than over 13 million people in the UK who live in poverty.

For 5 days this March, I, along with other JLL members, will
be wearing the same, black dress -- posting photos of myself each day -- to raise funds in support of the Junior League of London's community projects to help break the cycle of poverty.

The JLL's vision is of a London where each person has the opportunity and means to prosper.  For more information on the JLL or this programme, please visit: https://www.jll.org.uk/thelbdi/.

I am grateful for any and all support.  Thank you for donating to the JLL's 5th annual LBDI!
