I had an epiphany not so long ago - I realised I didn't do a thing to help others, so I've decided that this year is my charity year!  This particular event is for Cancer Research UK.

The statistics are scary - 1 in 3 of us will develop some form of cancer in our lifetime.  Have a think about the people you love and think about how you would feel if they got the diagnosis.  I don't want any of us to feel that we didn't do enough to prevent it.  By taking part or donating even £1 you can make sure you don't get that sinking feeling that you could have done more.

Please, please, please just sponsor me even a few pence!  If you donate the cost of just 1 doughnut, coffee or sandwich you will have helped others and probably reduced your own chances of diabetes, heart disease or even cancer itself!
