I'm not a lover of heights or flying so this is something which terrifies me! But I wanted to do something I would find a challenge to raise money for St Catherine's Hospice. This is a charity very close to my heart who wouldn't exist without the support of fundraisers. The staff at St Catherine's cared for my Mum in her final days with us when she lost her fight against cancer, and they supported myself and my family throughout. They are an absolute inspiration to do what they do everyday. The care they provide to not only their patients but the friends and family both during and after someone has been admitted to the hospice is second to none and so I want to push myself to take on this challenge and give back something to such an incredible team of people.
I have already raised £395 for St Catherine's Hospice in Preston who have arranged the Skydive and shall continue raising money now for St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley.
