Maddie is the loveliest, sweetest dog who loves cuddles & is super gentle. She was brought into Bristol A.R.C. due to a change in her previous owner's circumstances which meant they were sadly no longer able to care for her.
Nowadays, she likes to spend time relaxing in Bristol A.R.C.'s reception, keeping the staff company! She is also very fond of her toys, especially tennis balls & soft toys.
But sadly, Maddie has a Degenerative Joint Disease, which has caused her cruciate ligament to partially rupture in her left leg. This is a condition that causes lameness & discomfort in her knee, but which can be fixed with surgery.
Maddie had surgery for the same thing in her other leg before she arrived at Bristol A.R.C. so we know that her healing powers make her a good candidate for surgery & that her leg is strong enough to support her whilst she recovers.
So please donate anything you can, no matter how big or small it will help Maddie get back to a happy & healthy life again!
