A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. Not a biggie I know, but if I didnt do something about it, then it could become a bigger issue as I get older. WFC trust ran a 12 week program for Men which not only advised on health, healthy eating and lifestyle, but also included a bit of exercise. After 20 minutes in week one, I was totally knackered. And two days after that I could hardly walk. Just showed how unfit I was. In week 12 however, I could do an hour. Two years later, I'm doing weekly circuit training, I'm cycling more and have also taken up Parkrun on a Saturday morning (Away games permitting). To date, I've completed 65 5K runs. Overall feeling better, fitter and more importantly, my blood pressure has come down. Thanks WFC trust.
