HELLO LOVELY PEOPLE!  I WILL BE GIVING UP ALCOHOL COMPLETELY FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF OCTOBER (YES, REALLY!) TO RAISE MONEY FOR SAMARITANS. I KNOW THAT YOU ALL WILL KNOW ABOUT THE SORT OF WORK THAT SAMARITANS DO, BUT I WILL BE POSTING ALL MANNER OF FACTS AND FIGURES DURING THE RUN-UP TO MY BOOZEFREE MARATHON. Eastbourne & District Samaritans is now a separate charity from the central Samaritans charity. As such, this page has been set up to make it easier for our supporters to send donations, as a one off or on a regular basis.We're based at The Haven in Bolton Road, providing listening support to anyone experiencing emotional distress, via phone, emails or face-to-face. Phone-lines are manned 24/7 across the organisation. The Haven now has a lift so that the building is accessible to volunteers and callers with mobility issues.
