Climb of Snowdonia · 21 April 2018

We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

In March of 2016 I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis,
and being rushed into hospital to have emergency lifesaving surgery. Resulting in the removal of my bowels, and left with a stoma that requires me to poop out of my tummy into a bag 😊

Living with Inflammatory bowel disease can be difficult to
live with. It affects you physically and emotionally. Ultimately though, you just have to keep living life the best way you can and enjoy yourself. This is why I challenge myself and my body all in the way of raising funds for the Crohns and Colitis UK charity. Last year myself and a few friends walked a 10k in Bristol. This year I want us to challenge ourselves even further. I have organised for us to climb up Snowdonia.

The aim for this isn’t only to test my body and prove to myself it can be done, but also to raise awareness and valuable funding in the research of inflammatory bowel disease.

Please please donate if you can and help me reach our £1000 goal. Or, just spend a few minutes reading about the disease and raising awareness amongst your friends and family.

Thank you all so much!
