I have finally made my minimum £1000 target! Thank you to everyone that has donated, although it is a minimum so if anyone else would still like to donate then please do - my page will stay active until September. Travelling up tomorrow to start the ride on Friday - lets hope the rain holds off!

Thanks everyone for the fantastic support! I have now reached £500 which is amazing. Just over 3 months to go and training is going well - still a way off 170 miles but getting there!

As many of you know, my Dad Ken sadly passed away last year after fighting for 18 months with dementia, an illness caused by diseases of the brain and one that can affect anyone. Unlike some other diseases, dementia is terminal and there is no cure.

 

I am planning on cycling 172 miles over 3 days, travelling from Workington, Cumbria, across the lake district and finishing in Whitby, Yorkshire.
