We provide children's hospice care to children and families across Sussex

Story

In my photo, I'm cuddling my dog, she has Cushings disease which will one day take her from me, so cuddles like these, on the sofa, with the sun streaming in on us, are special ones I shall treasure forever.

There are many children in our midst with life-limiting conditions, and they and their families need all the care and support they can get to help them cope and create precious memories they too can treasure. Chestnut Tree House provides the hospice care and community support for these very children and their parents and family members, who don't know how long they will have together.

Please donate whatever you can to help the Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice keep on offering the care, love and support they do.

I pledge to climb up all 200 winding steps of the Bake House Tower of Arundel Castle, conquer my vertigo and plunge 180ft back down to terra firma. I'd love it if you could help me reach a £500 target for the Hospice, so I've a couple of things up my sleeve between now and then to help boost your donations ........ in February I plan to bake a special Valentines Day cake, for which I shall sell raffle tickets (you could be the lucky winner of this delicious confection !!!) and in March, I shall be organising an evening of bees and honey, a ticketed event ........... but more of that and how to get hold of tickets for it in due course.

Thank you for supporting my bonkers abseil and in so doing, sending love and support to some very unwell children and their families.
