Story

Welcome to our Just Giving page!

We are taking part in the AJ Bell London Triathlon 2016 in memory of our friend and colleague Tony Bliss who sadly lost his battle with cancer earlier this year. Dorothy House offer support to patients and their families throughout the hard and painful times that losing a loved one bring. We want to show our support for the wonderful work that they have done and continue to do for Tony and his family, as they do for many other families, through our participation in this event.

8 teams will be tackling the course, with each team comprising of a swimmer, a cyclist and a runner. Each member of the team will tackle a different discipline; the first will take on the 1500m swim, one will cycle 40km on the roads around the venue and the final one will complete a 10km run to the finish line! The event is being held at the ExCeL Centre in London on Saturday 6th August and the course takes you through the Docklands area.

We would really appreciate a donation to help us show our appreciation for everything that has been done for Tony, his wife Kerry and his young family. Every penny counts!
