COVID-19 has added additional strains for not only people struggling with the effects of Dementia but also their families and close friends. For Elf Day and as part of Medequip Connect I aim to raise funds for the society to assist in any way that we can. 

To Raise funds for Alzheimer's, we decided that we might use the help of of an Elf as this year draws to an end.

On the 5th December 2020 Kristian Knight will complete a 20+ Mile walk from Medequip Connect Rawtenstall to Medequip Assistive Technology in Leyland. We all know someone who may be challenged by the nature of Dementia and Alzheimer's.  

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
