Ready, Set, SNOW! Unleash your inner elf, dress up and get festive to support people affected by dementia.

Story

Medequip Connect are a #TECS social alarm monitoring and responder service supporting vulnerable adults throughout the UK.

As a alarm monitoring service we promote the independence of 10'000 adults with social alarms (emergency pendants) to enable them to call for help at the simple press of a button. Medequip Assistive Technology work closely with the Alzheimer's Society so this year we have decided to run two fundraisers for Elf Day 2020 side by side to raise as many funds as we can for our like minded chosen charity.

We are very proud to provide 'Freedom' devices to some of our TECS service users. These evolving devices give our clients the same benefits of a social alarm but the freedom to be able to get out and about and still have the ability to summon help should they need assistance or become lost. we also provide devices to people who may be at risk should they walk with purpose when suffering from some of the affects of Alzheimer's and Dementia.

ELF DAY 2020 - Fundraising

Medequip Connect will be holding a Cake Sale on Friday 4th December at our #TECS office in Workington, Rawtenstall, Witney and Ipswich.

On the Saturday, Kristian Knight will complete a 20 mile walk from Medequip Connect Rawtenstall to Medequip Assistive Technology in Leyland.

We hope to raise as much as we can with all proceeds going directly to the Alzheimer's Society and Dementia to support people affected by the effects of of this condition not only on the person but also their friends and family.
