I am taking part in RBC Ride for the Kids on Friday 25 September to raise money for the charity, SportsAid. The event will be a highlight of this years SportsAid Week, the charities big campaign week, and all miles covered will contribute to the charitys #MyMilesChallenge. SportsAid provide financial support, recognition and personal development opportunities to the next generation of British athletes during the early stages of their career. All of the money raised from this event will go towards funding a series of athlete and parent workshops for SportsAid athletes. These workshops will support athletes with media training, nutrition advice and mentoring to ensure that they can be the best athlete they can be. Since 2014, RBC has supported 50 up-and-coming, young athletes each year with a SportsAid award.
