In august 2018 my close friend Ben was ecstatic to welcome his daughter Eve into the world.  However, postnatally Eve was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and a heart defect. Diagnosis aside Ben and his wife Fiona love and care for Eve without question and are a true inspiration.

With the complications with Eve’s heart and disabilities, extra help was needed and Footprints Conductive Education Support offered this unequivocally.  As a nurse myself who witnesses the current cuts within healthcare, it is amazing to see such a patient focused service being offered.  A charity life footprints truly fills the gaps that the NHS can no longer offer but more importantly they provide the education Ben, Fiona and Eve need to give Eve the best chance for a happy life.

To raise money for Footprints Conductive Education Support I will be taking part in a amateur charity event. Having never boxed before this will be physically and mentally challenging.
