We did it!!!

10 hours and 65 miles later the L&D cycle team made it to Edinburgh. Thank to you everyone who has sponsored us and also to everyone who kept us going with texts during the day - they really did help.

Six intrepid members of the Thomas Cook Learning & Development Team have challenged themselves to complete a Coast to Coast bike ride from Bowling on the west coast of Scotland, to Edinburgh on the east coast!

Karen Miller, Kate Jarrod, Becky Smith, Joanne Craig, Steven Park and Laurence Roche have dusted off their bikes and will be cycling the 65 miles along the Forth & Clyde and the Grand Union Canal on the 24th & 25th Sept.

You may think that this isn't a long way, but the majority of the team have not ridden a bike for years, and have had to beg borrow and steal (well almost!) the bikes to complete this challenge!

We're raising money for the Thomas Cook Children's Charity which aims to make dreams come true for sick and disadvantged children and anything you donate is very much appreciated.
