I would like to say

a big thank you

to everyone who has supported the fundraising events I
have been involved with over the last 6 months in aid of Isabel Hospice.

We have held a variety of events;

Photo Shoot in the Old Library in Hertford.(Venue generously donated Mike and Clare)( Photographers Suzy and Dick)

Pop-up Cinema  in the old Library showing Elf for the children and Grease for the adults.(Venue generously donated Mike and Clare)

Race Night  at Morgans School,Hertford

Fashion Show,
(kindly supported by Jane Hewitt Proprietor of Retail Therapy, Hertford.)

Tom Jones Tribute Night, Hertford.( I thought Tom was the real thing!!)

Isabel Hospice is our local Hospice and over the years touched many of our hearts, family and friends alike which is why I choose to support them.

For my sins all this fund raising was for another challenge
Trekking in Nepal this October. (As always  as a group we are all self-funding the trip and fund raising in addition .)

Why do I keep doing it?  It's a great way to make new fabulous friends,
challenge yourself on fundraising and then the actual trek pushing you beyond your comfort zones and all for the benefit of ISABEL HOSPICE.

If you didn't manage to make any of our events or felt they weren't for you but would still like to sponsor me on the challenge, please do through this site and ensure that you tick gift aid if relevant, every penny helps, as all services at the Hospice are free of charge, and the cost of providing these services is budgeted at £4.5 million. Of this, we need to raise around £3 million from charitable sources.

What we are raising is a small part but it all helps.

Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 270,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for around 1,400 patients and 700 family members. But we know there are even more people that need our help.
