World Mental Health Day Skydive · 10 October 2021

Experience the ultimate adrenalin rush with a tandem skydive on Sunday 10th October - World Mental Health Day - to raise awareness & funds for better mental health in Cornwall, climbing to 15,000 feet and freefalling for 60 seconds!

Story

I’ve been volunteering for Cornwall Mind for around a year and I’ve seen the positive impact the groups and events can have with not only with the service users, but also the community.  Cornwall Mind is a great charity that I feel blessed to be a tiny part of and I really hope you can help me support them by donating.

After 2 years of going back to school, I’ve finally started on my journey to gaining my degree and becoming a Mental Heath Nurse. Mental Health is something I am truly passionate about and I strive to promote mental health as well as help anyone who is suffering with mental ill health.

This World Mental Health Day, I am taking on a once in a lifetime experience - skydiving from the ultimate altitude (15 000 feet) to raise awareness and funds for better mental health resources  in Cornwall. The pandemic has seen an unprecedented demand for mental health services and every penny raised will help to fund Cornwall Mind's wellbeing and recovery groups so that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

Thank you 💕
